End of this blog
CR now offers poker blogs for members so I will be using that site instead of this. (plus I think it offers more privacy). GLGL at the tables :)

Updates
I have a new doggie to add to my little family of me and Minko. Her name is Ava and she is the sweetest thing I have ever met. I also think the prettiest!

Special thanks to Rodeo for helping me resize!
Onto poker things, taking shots at 100nl again, would have been up by a good bit if I didn't get coolered, but I did win the biggest pot ever.

Meh, wasn't sure what to do about this hand really, Ward says I did the right thing. I think I did, but meh, I need to stop being results oriented.

Running into quadaments haha nothing I can do...

Reviving the blog
Update time here! :)
Now that the bar exam is over, the actual bar and the ethics portion it's time to play much much more poker. No excuses really.
In other life news, I went to see the Family Values Tour this weekend in ATL with my best friend who flew all the way from Detroit to go with me. We also went to the World of Coke and that was super awesome. We had so much fun and I haven't seen him since he moved to Michigan about 7-8 months ago. Oh yes, side note...doing double vodka on the rocks + outdoor concert in ATL = sure fire way to be dehydrated and hungover. Haha, I am too old to be partying the way I used to back in undergrad or just out of practice.
I also have a personal trainer now. I meet with her twice a week and have to hit the gym 4 days a week with the 5th day being a "fun, free day." What that means is that as long as I get in some form of exercise it really doesn't matter. I'm supposed to be keeping a food log too blah she's probably going to yell at me for all the junk I eat. Tonight, I'm going to hit the gym and maybe do some yoga+cardio or some pilates+spinning. I really love the idea of having a personal trainer, she's there to motivate/yell/encourage me and really pushes me to the limit sometimes. I have a feeling this is going to be another long term expense for me, now I see why celebs have such great bods.
I have to admit it's great not to work since I can go to the gym whenever I want...but I worry about the future. I also really want to live on my own again, selfish as that sounds I'm too used to living by myself and love privacy.
Last update, I did recommit myself to lessons with Rayray another 2 months. He says his game has really improved and his results don't lie, my goal for the end of the year is to be solidly beating 1/2 while being able to take shots at 2/4. Well that's it for now folks :) will update tommorow with some hands...my lessons with Ray are supposed to be on Friday evenings.

Two Days Until D-day
VA Bar exam is on Tuesday and Wednesday. 0.o
Nervous nervous nervous. Gotta go study soon and I feel so far behind. Tommorow I drive back to VA and check into my hotel. Still have quite a few topics to cover and and notecards.
Still a bit up in the air as to what I'm going to do after the exam...not sure where I'll be moving exactly...somewhere in the Charlotte area I guess but with who is the question?
Worry about that later I guess....I also have surgery the day after the bar. GLGLGL to me.

Floundering...
So it's been a week and I feel like I am floundering here in Lexico. I'm extremely lonely. Barbri classes are horrible and there is no one here that I'm close friends with. I hate to say it but I miss Craiggie/Smapty (yeah yeah, I know you're going to laugh when you read this Smapt >:/). I drive by his window everyday going to school and realize he's no longer here along with other people I've grown close with during the two years. It also doesn't help that the school is like a tomb except for the one class. The noise from construction and lack of AC really doesn't help either.
I realized just how lonely I was last night when I was scrolling through my IM lists looking for someone to talk to..blah pathetic. I talked to my good friend Stef today and I really miss her. Come to think of it, it's pretty amazing how close we got in one year. Actually, we had a pretty good group our 1L year. In some ways, I wish I never left but, I know it was for the best even though ironically, I don't really want to be a lawyer.
Anyway, Tyler pointed out to me the other day that I was being pretty anti-social because I did not want to go lay out at the pool with his friends. But, I just feel like they are his friends, not mine and I miss MY friends. So the point of my rambling is that 1) I'm lonely, 2) Lexington sucks and 3) without poker to distract me, I'm liable to go insane before the summer is over.

Last Poker Blog for Now...
Today was my first day of bar exam review...3 hours of sitting in front of a video of a professor lecturing about crim law = fun fun fun. I have officially deleted all poker related content on my laptop...it was slowing down terribly anyway, had my passwords changed on my accounts, and left my desktop + sweet ass monitor in Charlotte. :(
Anyway, the bar exam review course recommends 7-9 hours of review everyday...ugh treat it as a full time job. Fortunately, I was well prepared in criminal law, and ugh, I won't pull 7-9 hours on that but definitely will on more obscure subjects like commercial paper. (wtf?)
Onto poker stuff. I had set a goal for myself around March that I wanted to get to 100nl before I quit for the bar. I did take a shot at it (I was so excited!) and actually lost 3 buyins. QQ is obv better than KK all in preflop and a few coolers like that. I have no HH here because I am posting from my laptop in VA and my desktop is in NC.
I did win my biggest pot ever of $306. It was bvb and I was in the sb with 22. I raise and get called by bb. The flop came 9 3 9 rainbow. I c-bet and get smooth called. Turn was a 2. I bet, and get instant raised. I knew immediately that the guy had a 9. I shove over the top, hugely overbetting pot and get insta called. We were both pretty deep I had about $169 stack and he had $155 (I think). Villain flips over Q 9. Afterwards, he berated me in chat for quite awhile calling me a lucky donk, etc etc. Well if he had raised me on the flop, I would have definitely folded...because pocket 22s there beat nothing.
I did stack a really nitty CR member as well. He was running at 15/12 over 1k hands. I had QQ on the button and had been raising alot as is the SLAG style. This was the first time I got 3 bet and I was considering 4 betting but decided it was a possibility he had AA or KK and at worst AK, and I didn't want to go all in preflop with QQ. So I decided to just smooth call the 3 bet in position and the flop came Q high and rainbow giving me top set. I just called his bet on the flop knowing that he'd c-bet pretty much any safe flop. Turn was an A. The bet was $29 and I raised/shoved for $86. He thinks and finally makes the call as time almost ran out. He flipped over AJ. I guess the pot odds weren't horrible but when I reviewed the hand later and he said "nh" before making the call. I think if you know you are beat it's still ok to fold getting I think about 4 to 1.
I've also been making more crazy reads that during the time, I trust my gut so much I don't think about how crazy it is.
Ex: at 50nl, 3 handed vs. a Lagdonktard. I raise on the button with K10o and get called by BB. Flop is 7 5 2 all rainbow. Villain cbets $3 and I raise to $9 with complete air. Turn comes and it is a K I bet $20 and get raised all in for another $20. I call his all in with K10 and he flips over 99. A few comments I got from people were do I play like this normally? Well yes I do, if I have a strong feeling someone is bluffing. I did stack off with tp and no kicker when villain very easily could have had a set.
Here's another hand that I lost, but felt I played it extremely well. This was villain's first orbit and I had been stealing blinds like it was my job. Raise with 9 7 o. Flop is 3 7 3. I bet and get raised by villain and villain's raise told me that he had nadda. Turn was a Q and I still wasn't worried. I checked to let villain put me all in for a full stack. Villain flips over K 9. River was a K. Oh well, 3 outer but, I'm really proud of my read and didn't doubt it once during the hand. Some people have said that I didn't play that hand well, but as long as I get my money in as a favorite, I'm willing to gamble. Actually, I think I posted that hand already lol...gah I'm getting old.
GM RayRay did say it's not unexpected that I didn't do so great at 100nl, getting coolered and all. I have put in an ASSLOAD of hands this month, so much so that I was burnt out and didn't play my last two days that I could. I was up $1099.45 from May 1 which is pretty sick at 50nl running at 6.71 bb/100. I was really really proud and excited though because he said that I was his most successful student to date and have learned his LAG style very well. He also said he does not doubt that I will be a winning 1/2 player at the end of this year even with my long poker break. Yayayayay! I just consider it a huge compliment since well he doesn't give many compliments...haha most guys don't! Anyway, I'm going to try to keep this blog up during the summer...probably with non-poker related junk about how I hate the bar exam and etc. I'm still going to check CR religiously haha. That's it for now lovies <3 :)

Da Pokah
I had two sessions yesterday. The first, I was up five buyins before getting majorly sucked out on and coolered. I'm really proud of my game though and would not play any differently. I'm up 4 1/2 buyins over 1,222 hands (I'd post PT stats but stupid Photoshop expired and now I have to find a serial number). Stats are 22/19/4 (I think I need to tighten up just a smidge).
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070605 I was really proud of my read on this hand, it was spot on. This was actually the first hand that villain had played at the table. However, I got a distinct feeling that he/she was bluffing. I checked the turn to give villain an opportunity to bluff as the Q was a great card to bluff with. Too bad the river screwed me in the ass, but all in all I loved the way I played this hand. Now that I think about it, crazy of me to go all in like that on villian's first hand, but I really trusted my read at the time.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070611 I wanted to raise the turn by being oop and with another almost full stack behind, I felt like I couldn't. This hand also just convinces me villains bluff the river entirely too much.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070620 Don't love villain's raise on the turn, so often that just screams set to me. Showed me AK high though...
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070621 When they both called my all in, I was afraid my kicker would be in lots of trouble. It would have been pretty sick if the flush had hit.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070625 Sometimes I 4 bet with AA and sometimes I don't...heads up that is. I like my small 4 bet here it enabled him to call. Honestly, I put him on AK or AQ solidly. Didn't think someone would call a 4 bet with AJs.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070631 Couldn't go all the way with this hand. The all in shove on turn just screamed flush and this is the same villain from above.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070638 One of my first hands at the table. Although I folded, it told me two things... 1) Villains are complete donks for calling 3 bets oop. 2) The way that guy just checked/shoved also screams complete donk.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070642 Exhibit A.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1070644 Exhibit B. My read that this guy was a complete and total donk let me go pretty much all the way with this hand. The turn and the river helped no doubt. I would have slowed down if a high card came along.
Ok enough HH for the day, I have a ton of errands to do in order to complete my bar app. I'm still recovering from my 10-11 buyin downswing and am about 3 1/2 buyins down still. With my confidence back, I'm able to play much better poker so I just have to keep my mind right.

The I_Husoool/Booshiet Way
It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted. Was up like $500 and my BR was a little over 2k and then had a bad run of cards and, I'm gonna admit a little tilt. I was in bad need of coaching since I was beginning to doubt my ability. My lesson with GM Ray started off pretty badly, I was down 2-2 1/2 ish buyins due to mostly getting outdrawn, etc. Then the lesson really started to turn around.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1067561 Luksak?!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1067573 Screw you....4 betting is the new 3 betting.
Villain kept raising my blinds and we decided that was enough "booshiet" LOL I'm retarded.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1067599 thus, massive tilt he started shoving all in on me preflop about 4 or 5 times when this hand occured.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1067606 Mmm now that's what I call a sexy hand.
The session really gave me confidence as Ray was able to remind and reinforce some things that I had been slacking off a little on. We tilted so many people it was ridiculous and my BR would be much bigger if at the end of the session a guy didn't hit a 2 outer! (and the beginning wasn't so rough) However, all in all a great session and I feel like I have my confidence back. This style reminds me of why 10 buyin days are possible.
In other news, I graduate on the 12th! Shippp.

Reflecting..
This will be my last entry since exams are starting soon. Ugh, last week of classes which means way too much work that needs to be done.
I've officially moved to 50nl. My BR is sitting at over 1500 which is huge for me as I started out with a $25 deposit. I know most people still consider me a microstakes donkey, I know I do but I'm still very proud. I need to get better about not stacking off with tptk as I've noticed at 50nl I've run into alot more sets. I've also run into quite alot of suckouts and coolers (no HH because I'm in class and on my laptop again). Anyway, I don't really like to complain. On the other hand, I've hit quads about 5 times in the past few days...lol quadaments. I'm showing a small profit at 50nl and as I recall running at about 3.71 bb/100 which isn't horrible, I mean at least I'm not in red but I definitely need to run at at least 5 bb/100.
So a lot of y'all have asked what I will be doing after graduation. I've applied for AF Jag program, and if I get in I'll probably do it. The negatives are 1) 4 year commitment and 2) well, it's the military. Anyway, if I do it, it doesn't start until January 2008. The bar is finished mid-late July and that leaves me a few months to basically, donk around. I plan on moving in with Tyler, getting a part time job as in some type of contract work for a couple of days a week and mostly, playing poker. I'm not as naive to think that I can do this full time but, I think it'll be fun to be able to play a lot and see how far I can get in 6 months. Even if I decide not to do AF, I might keep at contract work depending on how much I like it. I'm calling the temp agency that staffs attorneys for document review.
This brings me to the bar exam. Hrm, ok so after exams I have about 2-3 weeks where I can play all the poker I want. Then, there's graduation and after that I'm brining my big 22 inch monitor + computer to Tyler's so I don't get distracted for 10 weeks while I study hardcore for the bar. I'm going to take the VA bar so I get to stay in my apt and keep everything while I'm here for the summer. Oh yes, as a side note, when I do finally start playing again, I'm moving my entire roll to UB. I want to bonus whore and UB's rakeback is more than FTP's. I'm definitely going to miss playing poker for 10 weeks, but I realize I have to sacrifice for once in my life haha to pass this stupid exam.

Shipppit holla!
Fully recovered from my downswing of yesterday! I made 5 1/2 buyins tonight and need to log now to do judicial clerkship stuff (ugh!).
Here are my PT stats for viewing pleasure.

Again, I was playing my A game that Ray has been preaching...the lag style of about 22/19.
I am really proud to say that I am able to turn into a calling station on the right hands to extract maximum value. Ex: http://www.pokerhand.org/?986324 The min raise screamed bluff and I knew if I raised the turn I'd push out any 3x or 9x hand. River I feel like if I bet I'll only get called by a hand that beats mine, but I was prepared to check/call.
I also love when I am able to tilt villains. This villain in particular had been 3 betting me constantly because I raise all the time preflop and especially bvb. I didn't think he had a big hand here, but knew if he did he was paying me off. http://www.pokerhand.org/?986331 So, I decided to slow down the flop and go all in on turn.
I thought this guy here was trying to steal my blind! How dare he lol. I didn't realize I was crushed preflop...can we say luck sack/donk?! http://www.pokerhand.org/?986345
Here I yelled a bad word on the turn haha...then I sucked out on his suck out...lol made me laugh. http://www.pokerhand.org/?986340
I had several great comments tonight.
"Do you raise my blind everytime?" I don't answer back ever, but in my head I was saying...yeah pretty much since you let me get away everytime and I'll outplay you post flop.
"You must make quiet a nice living off stealing the blinds." Well yeah pretty much...haha that and it gives me great pleasure. As you can see from my PT, my attempt to steal blinds is always around 42-44%.
"You're a donkey that's going to get busted everytime, people like you suck at life." Ouch. I guess so.
In other news, I'm hoping bonus drops before Friday so I can be well over 30 buyins for 50nl. I know rakeback will drop and I'm getting quite the nice amount this month. I just need to keep playing my A game in order to beat these donk limits. I'm seriously thinking about moving to UB once my bonus clears at FT.

Swinging
Ok, so I've received some complaints that it seems like I don't post when I'm not doing well. I don't like complaining but just to show some of y'all that I do swing here goes.
Oh yeah, I'm posting on my laptop while in class so no HH.
Since my last post, I made 5 1/2 buyins not being able to play much again because of school atm. I would have been on another $70 upswing (my stack was $35 and villain's was $42) if not for a huge suckout. I had AKo, flop A A 9 all rainbow. I bet and get min raised. I decide to just call and be aggro on the turn. Turn was 2. We go all in. Villain has AJ (I put him on AJ or AQ and highly unlikely, 99). River J...GG me.
Yesterday I dropped 4 buyins. 3 of those buyins were with AA. I literally started cringing whenever I saw AA after awhile. A particular donkey sucked out on me the hand before 2 outing my KK vs his QQ. Nex hand, I reload look down and see AA. Donkey thinks about it and calls my raise. Flop was nothing scary, turn brought a straight possibility, all in on turn and he flips over 8 5 o for the gutshot straight. River brings his gutshot...I was sick.
Then, I had AA vs. set, I just consider that a cooler I'm paying someone with a set off everytime with AA. Then, AA vs. runner runner flush. The other hand I dropped a full buyin on was AKo and I hit two pair on the flop of AKQ. I didn't put villain on J10 at all. We go all in, villain has QJ. Anyone want to guess what the river brought? You got it...a 10. I also dropped a buyin trying to bluff someone late in the session because I can admit I was a little tilted. What a donk I am.
Then, because I was a little tilted, Ollie asked me to play the Daily Doubles. What the hell I wasn't in the mood but entered them and busted out early because I was impatient and in a bad mood. Another buyin-ish gone.
Ray has said that he wants me to move up to 50nl this Friday while he's coaching. I'm excited about that and know I need to get my mind right. (yes, my signature phrase) I don't need to be a tilt monkey!!! So today, I need to refocus, regroup, work on my judicial clerkship stuff and if I have time later, play my A game. Moving up to 50nl is such a motivator for me that I have to and should play good, solid poker.

Warning! Obv Brag Post Ahead...
I definitely made about 9 1/2 buyins yesterday at 25nl. I played my A game and really nailed the lag game that Ray has been teaching. Some key changes to my game is sometimes calling a raise in position with suited connectors, limping small PPs, and more delayed cotinuation betting when the flop texture is awful or when my cbets get no respect. I still don't back down from my preflop raises though. A big thanks to my GrandMaster Ray who truly inspires me to be the best I can possibly be!
My PT results from yesterday:
I've also been very fortunate to hit two straight flushes in the past two days. One I got paid off on the other not so much, but eh I can't complain.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?947244 Almost hit the Royal here...mmm sexay hand.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?938716 The only hand that would beat me would be QJ, I thought to myself if he had QJs I'm going to cry lol or maybe laugh manically.
In other news, yes according to most people I am properly BR'd to give 50nl a try...but GrandMaster Ray thinks I should wait till 30 buyins, which isn't much considering I have a $200 I'm clearing and I'm a BR nit anyway.
This has also been a really sweet MTT week for me. I usually don't enter those, but I won a freeroll on Friday in 5th place and won a FTP jersey there were 1781 entrants. Yay! I finally final tabled, which was one of my poker goals for the year! I think I'm going to keep the points because the jerseys are ugly and either use them to satellite or get something from the store much later. I also itm'd in the RTR freeroll for $48 I definitely would have done better I was 4th at one point but my damn wireless kept dropping me...gahhh. I also got 5th and 6th in $3 45 man sngs. 2nd in an ftp satellite, 1st place got to play in the 400k guaranteed. Oh boo, can't win them all...
Oh yes...I must also brag about my new sexay speakers...lol told y'all this is an obv brag post!
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7933748&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat110000050027&id=1152228083992
Yummy Bose speakers! I got to test out all types of speakers at Bestbuy and honestly, the Bose $99 ones even blew away the other brands with subwoofers, so I played with the Bose ones with subwoofers the step above mine sounds like you're in a cinema...but I'm not balla I'm just a microstakes donk so I went with the ones above which I'm totally in love with.
Ugh...school is also coming to a close which means graduation is inching closer! Less than 5 weeks of school left...gag.
This means I have a huge to do list:
1) Prepare and do my trial with my partner this Thurs
2) Fill out and finish my bar app.
3) Sign up for Barbri.
4) Ask landlord for extension in lease (done!)
5) Mail out graduation invites
6) Find a dress for graduation + shoes since I can't wear stiletto heels (wtf! outdoor ceremony)
7) Go to that long ass negotiation mediation thing on Sunday (but at least no final!)
8) Figure out and write up proper damages for the case my judge assigned me...eww 5 million dollar case I feel like if I'm deciding what's fair I should get a cut too haha yeah right!
9) Study for my two finals PR (what a joke) and conflicts...did I mention I hate law school in my blog yet?
Today's todo list:
1) Must clean apartment and if it's still bright out play with the pup outside.

Egos
So this is more of a small rant than anything else (not that I actually care that much...). A certain CR guy was telling someone else that he "owned" me at one table and how he bluffed me out of many pots.
PT shows I lost ONE pot to him and a profit to him of $2.65. The rest were me folding in the small blind preflop...so um...congrats to you and your ego?
I did however stack off to another CR member with absolutely nothing...must NOT bluff at 25nl. Gotta keep reminding myself of that! No hand histories today because I'm in class, pretty lazy and have to work on a dumb closing argument and that class starts at 4.
I will however post what I am getting this weekend!
Samsung 22"
HP Pavilion E6400 Media Center TV
That's hotness.
ETA: During class I also played some .25 PLO with Smaptastic and Olliepower...I left with $125 lolol I totally bombed my closing argument after that but I made $100 in an hour even with Olliepower sucking out on me with a runner runner flush that beat my made straight.

Finally Digging Myself Out of the Hole
Poker is so swingy. You run either super hot and suck out occasionally or everyone else sucks out on you.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?891521 I about had a heart attack and died on this hand...the biggest pot I ever won. GrandMaster (lol) Ray is so right though that I shouldn't be playing deep 6 tables since I play with scared money.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?891535 I wanted to post this hand and shed a few tears :'(
http://www.pokerhand.org/?891619 <3<3<3
In other news, I'm getting a 22" monitor to help in my poker escapades! Woohoo.

Another Day...
So I played an assload of hands yesterday over 2k 4 tabling...gosh I need an awesome poker setup so I can 6 table! Overall a pretty good day, though not running hot by any means, made half my profit at the deep 6 table and the other half grinding 25nl up about 3 buyins.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?879609 LoL full stack off with A2?
http://www.pokerhand.org/?879571 By far, my favorite hand of the day against another CR member that I knew would 3 bet me constantly. I cold called his 3 bet oop planning to check raise on a dry flop, which came. GrandMaster Ray (bahaha!) inspires me try more crazy plays like this.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?881017 My read was off here. I saw villain slowplay and min bet with top set earlier. His $3 looked so weak to me, looking back his min rereraise should have screamed big pp. After I raised him on the flop, and he shoved I knew I was beat.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?881030 I almost didn't make the call here but, the more I thought about it, the more it screamed low-mid pp to nothing, I'm glad I made the right call here. Of course, I was berated by him after hahaha.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?881039 Wow! I sucked out and 2 outed someone, I was so happy to know that I can suck out because I never do and it's usually someone sucking out on me! If he had reraised on the flop, I would have thought about folding, but his turn aggression I was pot committed.
Going to try for 1.5k -2k hands tonight, though probably closer to 1.5k hands. Gotta play good, solid poker..my mantra.

Update
I think I need to be more dedicated to playing MTTs too. Sundays will be my MTT day where I can enter in all the donkaments to my heart's content.
Yesterday, I entered into the $3 rebuy into the Sunday Million, $3 shootout to the Sunday Million (I ran into quads 3 times in those two mtts...ouch! 2 out of 3 I had a set...sick.) and Daily Doubles at FTP. I itm'd at Daily Double B in 54th place blah nothing to brag about, but considering I was really cold decked for majority of the tourney, I built up my chips through stealing and solid play.
Even though I didn't do as well in the MTTs and I usually do, I decided to play cash...I figured as unlucky as I was, surely my luck would turn around haha. So interesting session, but rather short because it was rather late already and I have class today..blah.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?877932 Gotta love four outers...what was this dude thinking!
http://www.pokerhand.org/?877938 Villain had been raising me and 3 betting preflop and as I thought about this I couldn't possibly put him on a 5. Maybe I pushed him out of an 8...the only thing I'd change here is probably a bigger reraise. For me, this really took some balls.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?877945 This is what you get for slowplay lol.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?877952 I typically NEVER check raise here...but I was positive villain would bet and I could raise.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?877956 Woohoo stacked the 4 outer guy at another table...at least he didn't suckout again.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?877960 The only hand that I found to be really questionable. Villain was pretty lag and my read was off. This was a dangerous board to do this on and all in all, retarded on my part.
All in all, pretty swingy 500 hand session and pretty break even ish, up $5.60. I think I could have turned it into a nice winning session if hadn't been so late.
Going to put in at least 1k hands tonight and play good, solid poker. :)

The hell of .25nl but I love deep stack tables :)
So ewww I lost $106 playing .25nl. Could not for the life of me win due to mostly suckouts..blah.
Some hands for viewing pleasure:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869430 Cooler really, plus shortie..eh.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869436 2 outer hehe..not sure why I was playing .05/.10 I'm such a wuss.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869441 I hate shorties...
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869448 2 outer river :/
On the other hand, I recouped about half my losses playing deep stacked...never had so much $$ sitting out on a table of my money scary crap.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869452 Credit goes all to villain here :)
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869457 I really really liked this villain and was sad to see her go.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869461
http://www.pokerhand.org/?869464 BB Special against villain.
So, I have a lesson today with Ray let's hope I run super hot I'm really proud of myself I did hit 3k hands! I'm really not used to playing long sessions like that even 1k worth of hands a day...so this is quite a challenge for me. I like it though: it forces me to stay more focused and in the end, my mental game is better.

First Post..
So, I wasn't ever planning on making a blog, but GrandMaster Ray (haha!) said I had to, which means he's going to be checking up on me. Poker blog fun.
Background:
I've always been a really determined and dedicated person to whatever it is in life I care about. This includes people, to school (um used to anyway) to now poker. I'm now in my last year of law school and have realized that this might not be what I want to do with the rest of my life. I'm not sure what I want to do with the rest of my life and I've never faced such indecision before. Looks like I'll have to give it a shot (being an attorney that is) since I'm going to be 150k in debt when I graduate...ouch.
On to poker things... :)
I learned how to play NL hold'em this summer. My ex is friends with an online pro and he started playing as well. One night I watched him win $400 in a freeroll at bospoker.com. After that I was hooked. I deposited $25 on bospoker and managed to work it up to about $50 before the execs were arrested. So no more $25 :(. I then deposited $25 at Stars and played HU sngs, sngs and dabbled a bit in .05/.10 full ring. I worked it up to about $100 and then deposited at Mansion. During this time, we all went to Vegas for Fall Break. After winning several donkaments live, I decided when I returned that I'd take poker alot more seriously. Anyway, Mansion cash games were so good to me, but again I had to play .10/.20 full ring. With a BR of about $225 I deposited at FTP in December. I also joined CR thanks to my friend Craig. Since then, things have been a little swingy, I'm such a BR nit though.
Now, Raymond (Hustler) is my official coach. He is way badass. He's also going to be hard on me, which I need. I can be such a slacker. Anyway, one of his requirements is that I make a blog...so here it is. I also have to put in 3k hands between now and Friday...epp..I also have a bench brief to write for the judge I clerk for due on Wednesday, some negotiation crap to do and an opening statement. So I'll update on Friday if not before then.
